Trish MacLean, M.Ed., RCT-C

Trish MacLean is a Registered Counselling Therapist–Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. She holds a Master of Education in Counselling from Acadia University and brings over a decade of experience in education, including her current role as an elementary school counsellor.

Trish has extensive experience supporting children and adolescents with concerns such as anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, friendships, and life transitions. She also welcomes adult clients seeking support with personal challenges, emotional well-being, and navigating life’s changes.

Her counselling approach is person-centred, collaborative, and strengths-based. Drawing primarily on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy, Trish believes individuals bring their own strengths, experiences, and perspectives to counselling. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Our focus is helping clients struggle less, so they can spend more time doing what they value most.
